InfoAssure develops new information assurance (IA) solution applications in a multi-tier, cross platform environment, including both back-end (business tier web application server with an interface to an Oracle DB), as well as front-end (GUI development) work.

Software Development
Senior Software Engineer: Provides expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of a multi-tier enterprise solution. Resolves highly complex technical issues and conducts advanced research. Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering with 7+ years of technical experience.
Application Developer / Programmer: The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to work either independently or in a team environment. Creative problem solving skills, the ability to balance, prioritize, and handle competing demands on time and attention, and an active interest in learning new skills and techniques (and transferring same to other team members) are all highly valued. Key activities include all phases of the development cycle, including design, planning, coding, testing, release, maintenance, and documentation with strong emphasis placed on ensuring that version compatibility, consistency, and accuracy are maintained. Candidate should have excellent technical writing and code documentation skills and habits. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Programming languages required: C, C++, VB.Net, ASP.Net.
Database Analyst: Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains N2K database[s]. Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process. Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Database Administrator: Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the N2K database. Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Quality Assurance
Quality Assurance Manager / Engineer: Seeking an experienced technical QA / Testing Leader (not just a Manager) with former development experience and a strong background in testing complex Web-based applications responsible for end-to-end testing of client and server components of the security infrastructure. Proactive approach to testing and good communication skills a must. Has QA leadership experience in establishing QA processes and procedures with start-up companies. Will build test frameworks to include writing test cases, test plans, and test suites, while establishing a QA team. Will build and run integrated test suites. Develops quality assurance standards. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies with Common Criteria and/or FIPS certification and accreditation. Strong knowledge base of Integration and Testing concepts and techniques, programming concepts and languages, n-tiered client/server environments and IT systems. Testing processes include white box/black box testing, regression, integration and user acceptance testing. Will work closely with and be a key player on the release management team. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of experience in the field. Leads and directs the work of others.
Software Quality Assurance Tester: Develops, publishes, and implements test plans. Writes and maintains test automation. Develops quality assurance standards. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Requires a bachelor's degree or 2 years of experience in software testing. Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies. Familiar with Windows, UNIX and/or Solaris environments.
Documentation
Manager/Senior Documentation Specialist: The Technical Documentation Specialist plans, organizes, writes, edits, and maintains technical documentation including product administration guides, system guides, and online help documents. The ideal candidate will be a team player with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks to meet established deadlines. Exceptional writing skills with an in-depth understanding of structured writing techniques are required. Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and experience with at least one of the following are required: Microsoft Office, Robohelp, Visio, Dreamweaver, or HTML. A Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Technical Writing or a related discipline is required. Will lead and direct the work of others.
Documentation Specialist: Prepares and/or maintains documentation pertaining to programming, systems operation and user documentation. Translates business specifications into user documentation. Plans, writes, and maintains systems and user support documentation efforts, including online help screen. May require an associate's degree in a related area and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision of the Manager/Senior Documentation Specialist.
Senior Technical Writer: Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses. May be responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 3+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Reports to the manager of the Documentation department.
