InfoAssure, Inc. is an Information Assurance software technology Development Company. It provides its customers with Enterprise level Information Centric Security (InfoCenSec™) technology solutions, ensuring the protection of mission critical information and improving the timely and accurate on-demand sharing of information for the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and the Intelligence Community.
In direct response to this national mandate, InfoAssure is dedicated to advancing the state of the art for InfoCenSec™ management technology aimed at controlling the access to and use of shared on-demand information objects. It is our belief that this will enhance the sharing of sensitive information across domains and communities of interest (COI) in a timely manner. InfoAssure has developed a new role based key management software tool called Need2Know® (N2K). We believe that the N2K technology will compliment and enhance the assurance levels of enterprise software applications as well as current network and end point security products on the market today. In the end, it's the information that is most important and must be protected, so that it may be shared on-demand across multiple COIs and only used by authorized members of the COI. Both government and industry leaders are now required to comply with protecting the information object (digital asset) as well as the IT infrastructure on which it lives.
InfoAssure's past work for U.S. Government customers in studying the cyber threats facing the national infrastructure and assessing the vulnerabilities of national systems that process and store highly sensitive national information, have formed the foundation of our corporate mind share and awareness of the more insidious threat presented by "trusted" insiders and has lead to our conviction that an impenetrable system does not exist, may never be built and it is ultimately, the information that must be protected in all three states of its existence, at rest, in transit and in process.
